Job summary

Carter Machinery, Inc. is seeking a Service/Sales Coordinator for the Power Systems Division in Elkridge, MD. This full-time role supports load/unload of equipment, maintains shipping records, and ensures yard safety and organization.

Ideal candidates will have forklift operation experience, a high school diploma, and strong communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams. The position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
• Ability to operate various model forklifts and other yard equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload new, used, customer equipment and other inventory departing/arriving facility.
• Complete accurate receiving/shipping documents for equipment.
• Inspect equipment for damage and report issues to Sales or Service Supervisor.
• Maintain service and safety records for cranes, forklifts, sweepers, and related equipment.
• Keep equipment and inventory organized in designated areas.
• Operate cranes, sweepers, or forklifts safely and professionally.
• Coordinate with teams to meet goals, deadlines and provide yard management support.
