Job summary

Carter Machinery Company, Inc. is hiring an Equipment Coordinator in Sterling, VA. The role supports loading and unloading rental equipment, coordinating deliveries and returns, and keeping the yard organized for quick access.

You may work with new and used machines and assist in co-locations with sales and service teams. Ideal candidates operate heavy equipment safely, communicate clearly, and manage time well in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to operate heavy equipment in a safe manner.
• Must be self-directed, organized and able to interact with peers.
• Must work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must possess good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must have good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading, receiving/releasing all rental equipment and attachments.
• Directing the delivery of new equipment and returns.
• Maintain the rental yard for easy access.
• Support sales and service machines in co-locations as needed.
