Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. is seeking a Service Support Technician for the Power Systems Rental line in Georgia.

The role involves maintenance, troubleshooting, and support for diesel engines, air compressors, and temperature control equipment. Strong reading of schematics and customer communication are essential. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least three years of Rental Product experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years of rental product experience or accepted alternate.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with diesel engines, air compressors, and temperature control products.
• Strong customer relationship management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for YPS Rental products through technical evaluations, troubleshooting, and problem solving.
• Repair and maintain YPS rental fleet including mobile generators, air compressors, and temperature control equipment.
• Guide and train service technicians and customers as requested.
• Communicate cost, service, and reliability issues to office personnel.
• Write full reports on findings from field service events with clear information.
• Provide daily reports regarding assigned units and represent the Power Systems Rental group in shop and field.
• Participate in required safety program and perform additional duties as assigned.
