Job summary

GAS GLOBAL SERVICES is seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager to lead the Technical Services Department in Houston. The role involves directing a team of Technical Service Engineers, delivering high-quality technical support and customer service for power system protection solutions.

You will work with Sales and stakeholders, develop product demonstrations and technical consultations, establish service standards, and contribute to new product development while traveling up to 25%.

Qualifications

• 12 years’ experience with numerical relays and recorders.
• 15+ years protection relay experience.
• Experience leading and developing a team.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of electric power systems and protective relay applications.
• Experience with EMTP, load flow, and short circuit studies.
• Experience with utility or engineering firms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Technical Services team to deliver remote and on-site support.
• Develop product demos, technical proposals, and customer training.
• Collaborate with Sales and Product teams to resolve issues.
• Represent the company at NASPI and IEEE PSRC conferences.
• Establish service standards and drive continuous service improvements.
