Job summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a Power System Protection Engineer to design, test, and implement robust protection and control schemes for power systems. You will develop relay protection settings for utilities, substations, and industrial customers, ensuring reliable operation and compliance with industry standards.

You will work with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, perform testing and commissioning, and apply SEL's values and manufacturing principles to deliver

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of relay protection, controls, and protection schemes.
• Experience designing and implementing protection and control schemes in utilities or industrial settings.
• Familiarity with IEEE, IEC, and NERC/FERC standards.
