H.O. Penn Machinery, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead power systems projects in the United States.

The role involves coordinating procurement, delivery, and startup testing, ensuring cost controls, and close collaboration with sales, engineering, and service teams. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of project management experience, familiarity with mechanical or electrical systems, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management or a related industry.
• Experience or knowledge of working with mechanical or electrical systems preferred.

• Highly self-motivated and professional demeanor.
• Ability to understand complex processes and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness and ability to travel to jobsites and attend factory testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Effectively and efficiently manage power systems projects.
• Oversee coordination, procurement, and delivery of products to ensure project success.
• Assure cost control of the assigned projects to maximize profit, including timely closeout.
• Schedule the startup service and testing with the manager or service department.
• Make site visits and/or meetings as required for customer installation assistance.
• Communicate and evaluate technical information to customers, vendors, and colleagues.
• Review project turn-in for spec compliance and technical viability and cost justification.
• Prepare formal engineering submittals for equipment approval.
• Provide technical information for Electric Power Generation (EPG) processes, projects, and sales initiatives.
• Develop positive relationships with Power Systems groups; communicate delivery schedules and control project costs.
• Supply technical information and data to stakeholders; assist with new product introductions.
• Assist sales reps and credit department with project information and collection efforts.
