Job summary

Wyoming Machinery Company Energy Solutions is hiring a Project Application Engineer to support engineering projects and sales objectives across energy systems, including engines, generators, PV and BESS. This role spans project engineering, management and coordination with Caterpillar and vendors.

Positions range from I to III with increasing responsibility, including leadership and project oversight; requires degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and strong technical design knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited four-year college.
• Strong understanding of engines, generators, PV and energy storage systems used in power systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoDesk and other drafting tools; teamwork oriented.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand installation and application of Energy Solutions equipment.
• Coordinate meetings with clients and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in development and management of project schedules per standards.
• Review customer specifications for technical accuracy and completeness.
• Produce and manage PSD fabrication/installation work orders with PSD requirements.
• Track project costs and maintain alignment with budgets and forecasts.
• Provide project reporting to the Power Systems Engineering Manager.
