Job summary

Energysolutionswmc is seeking a Project Application Engineer to support engineering projects and selling objectives in Wyoming. This role covers project engineering, design, and coordination with Caterpillar and vendors, including engines, generators, PV solar, BESS, and other power systems.

Positions progress from Engineer I to III based on experience; a BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required, plus knowledge of drafting tools and project management software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college/university.
• Understanding of engines, generators, PV and energy storage systems in power applications.
• Experience in power systems design, project management or sales is preferred.
• Familiarity with Procore or similar project management tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply system engineering guidance for each project to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinate with engineers, procurement, construction, and customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop project schedules, manage submittals and drawings, and track costs and progress.
• Support sales by reviewing specifications, creating submittals, and preparing equipment drawings.
• Provide sizing calculations and assemble O&M manuals upon project completion.
