Job summary

Buckeye Power Sales is seeking a dedicated Parts Administrator for our Power Systems Division in Indianapolis. You will oversee parts sales and customer service activities to maximize sales, profitability, and satisfaction, while coordinating with service, purchasing, and warehouse teams.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory levels, processing purchase requests, ensuring availability of high-turn parts, and delivering accurate data entry and MS Office-based reporting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years parts, warehouse, or retail experience; inventory experience a plus.
• Basic knowledge of the workings of gaseous and diesel engines; willingness to train on generators.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data entry.
• Resourceful; able to use Internet search engines.
• Must pass background check and periodic drug screens.
• Represent the company positively at all times.

• Resolve customer issues and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Manage parts and inventory; submitting purchase requests; approving department expenses.
• Assure adequate inventory of high-turn parts.
• Inventory accountability of stock for warehouse and service vehicles.
• Assuring parts availability through multiple sources, securing best pricing.
• Coordinating efforts of sales, service, purchasing, and warehouse operations.
• Shipping and receiving of parts and equipment.
• Providing recommendations and developing strategies on how to improve quality and quantity of services provided.
• Seeking and continuously developing knowledge about competitor activity, pricing, and tactics, and communicates this to relevant Company staff.
