Job summary

Buckeye Power Sales is seeking a Service Coordinator for our Power & Construction Equipment division to provide exceptional customer service, schedule equipment setups, and generate service work orders. This position supports the sales team and coordinates between service, parts, and technicians.

The role requires strong communication, independence, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Benefits include a comprehensive package and room for overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, in English.
• 18+ years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of gas/diesel engines or willingness to train on generators.
• Able to work unsupervised and independently.
• Flexible hours including occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to callers and walk-ins.
• Assist sales with scheduling setup of new equipment.
• Generate work orders for service technicians.
• Schedule and route service jobs.
• Check out/in customer, loaner, and rental units.
• Produce quotes and invoices.
• Support Service paperwork.
• Track open job orders for missed billing opportunities.
• Pull tech jobs daily and log scores.
• Coordinate activities between sales, parts, service and technicians.
• Coordinate maintenance for rental fleet equipment.

Our Service Coordinators are responsible for:

• Provide excellent customer service to customers that call or come in
• Assist the sales department with scheduling the setup of new equipment

Requirements

• Conforms with the core values of BPS
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 18+ years of age
• Basic knowledge of the workings of gaseous and diesel engines or willingness and ability to train and enhance knowledge of generators
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English
• Basic math skills
• Able to work well unsupervised; able to work independently
• Able to work flexible hours including occasional overtime
• Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task required
• Computer skills to include MS office products (Word, Excel, Outlook); data entry
• Must represent the company in a positive manner at all times
• Must be able to pass background check and periodic drug screens
