Job summary

Buckeye Power Sales is seeking a Service Coordinator for our Power & Construction Equipment division. The role focuses on delivering exemplary customer service, coordinating equipment setups, and generating work orders for service technicians.

Your responsibilities include scheduling, routing service jobs, and handling quotes and invoices while supporting the service department and ensuring smooth operations across sales, parts, and service teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to callers and visitors.
• Assist sales with scheduling setup of new equipment.

Buckeye Power Sales has been providing on site power solutions for businesses, contractors, engineers, municipalities and homeowners since 1947, which makes us the oldest Rehlko (formerly Kohle r) generator distributor in the country. We are also a distributor of Siemens Energy engines and generators for a wide range of power generation applications such as combined heat and power, waste to power, prime, and continuous. Our Service Coordinators are responsible for:

• Provide excellent customer service to customers that call or come in
• Assist the sales department with scheduling the setup of new equipment
• Generate work orders for service technicians
• Assist with scheduling and routing of service jobs
• Check out/in customer, loaner, and rental units
• Produce quotes and invoices
• Support the Service department with paperwork
• Track open jobs orders for potential missed billing opportunities
• Pull the tech jobs daily, match time to jobs, log score card date
• Coordinate activities between sales, parts, service, and technicians
• Coordinate needed maintenance for rental fleet equipment

Requirements

• Conforms with the core values of BPS
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 18+ years of age
• Basic knowledge of the workings of gaseous and diesel engines or willingness and ability to train and enhance knowledge of generators
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English
• Basic math skills
• Able to work well unsupervised; able to work independently
• Able to work flexible hours including occasional overtime
• Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task required
• Computer skills to include MS office products (Word, Excel, Outlook); data entry
• Must represent the company in a positive manner at all times
• Must be able to pass background check and periodic drug screens
