Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager to oversee electrical power system upgrades across facilities in North America. You will manage the full lifecycle from identification to implementation, coordinating with engineering firms and contractors to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective distribution systems.

The ideal candidate has deep electrical knowledge, strong program management skills, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in distribution or manufacturing electrical field.
• Knowledge of switchgear, UPS, transformers and circuit breakers.
• Experience with power system analysis tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Identify sites and develop concepts for LV/MV distribution upgrades.
• Partner with external electrical firms and contractors to meet standards.
• Perform project estimates and ROI calculations.
• Secure and oversee funding of projects/programs.
• Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Support operations, construction, and testing with product development.
• Conduct equipment failure investigations and provide mitigation solutions.
• Monitor trends in electrical system reports and drive improvements.
• Travel 50% across North America.
• Provide 3–4 weeks annually of on-call electrical engineering support.
