Job summary

Advanced Power Technologies (APT) / Blauberg is hiring Electrical Testing and Power Systems Services Technicians to support customers across the Indianapolis region. This hands-on field role involves testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and service of electrical power systems at customer facilities.

The position requires travel throughout Indiana and Western Ohio, with weekends/holidays possible. Candidates should read schematics, lift 50 lbs, and be eager to learn under experienced

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and develop skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to travel overnight approximately two days per week.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and service of electrical power systems equipment.
• Work with low- and medium-voltage switchgear, automatic transfer switches, circuit breakers, VFDs, and related power systems equipment.
• Read, understand, and interpret electrical schematics.
• Respond to customer service and emergency calls in a timely manner.
• Travel to customer facilities throughout the Indianapolis area, Indiana and Western Ohio as needed.
• Work under the supervision of experienced senior technicians while developing knowledge of the equipment serviced.
