Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking a Field Service Technician in Milwaukee, WI, with 80–90% travel to customer sites. This Temp-to-Hire role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment per standard procedures and safety requirements.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of electrical experience, ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical prints, and a valid Driver's License/REAL ID. Will train customers and coordinate with Dispatch regularly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in electrical work, repair and installation.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical prints.
• Valid Driver's License and REAL ID; able to fly domestically.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and perform maintenance on equipment.
• Proficient use of tools and procedures for scheduled inspections.
• Read electrical schematics and mechanical prints to guide work.
• Train and educate customers on equipment use and value of services.
• Communicate updates and next assignments with Dispatch daily.
• Maintain records of services performed, mileage and hours.
