Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 2 years of relevant experience; preference for Power Systems focus.
• Experience in short-circuit, protective device coordination, arc-flash and power quality studies preferred.
• Experience using power-system modeling software (SKM/ETAP/ASPEN/EZPower) required.
• Knowledge of low, medium and high voltage up to 500 kV; field experience a plus; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide design, analysis and studies for domestic or international projects.
• Conduct short-circuit, protective device coordination and arc-flash studies.
• Perform power factor, harmonic modeling and grounding analyses.
• Interact with customers to gather information and review engineering plans.
• Occasionally work in the field on shut-downs, startups and maintenance projects.
