Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Electrical Engineer to perform power studies for domestic and international projects in Irving, TX, on-site. You will conduct short-circuit, protective-device coordination, arc-flash studies, and power quality analyses.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience, and experience with SKM, ETAP, ASPEN or EZPower. Travel occasional; permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience, power systems focus preferred.
• Experience in short-circuit, protective device coordination, arc-flash and power quality studies.
• Experience with SKM, ETAP, ASPEN, EZPower or similar power system modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering related design, analysis and studies for domestic or international projects.
• Conduct short-circuit, protective device coordination and arc-flash studies.
• Perform power factor analysis and correction, harmonic modeling and analysis, and grounding analysis.
• Occasionally interact with customers to gather critical information and review engineering plans.
• Occasionally work in the field under the direction of Field Services team on shut-down, startup and maintenance projects.
