Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5 years recent experience in design, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of power systems.
• 2 years supervisory experience managing a team.
• Experience with AC distribution systems and high voltage; familiarity with DC distribution.
• Strong organizational, analytical, confidentiality, multitasking, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service, writing, and speaking skills.
• Ability to work any and all shifts and/or locations as assigned.
• Ability to supervise and work effectively with a diverse workforce.
• Ability to provide internal and external customers with a courteous and professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct and control Power Engineering group work.
• Schedule and assign daily tasks for up to 20 engineers.
• Maintain discipline and performance; coach and report to Deputy Director.
• Manage inspection, testing, and analysis for materials and equipment.
• Lead creation of power operating plans, charts, maps, and records.
• Coordinate designs and construction with engineers, consultants, and Capital Delivery.
• Develop SOPs, design standards, and equipment specifications.
• Oversee maintenance of electrical assets; preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Respond to inquiries professionally; work across shifts and locations.
• Drive vehicle to locations and emergencies as needed.
