Delta Electronics Americas seeks an experienced Power Systems Engineer to lead modeling, simulations, and analyses for utility-scale, industrial, renewables, microgrid, and data center applications.
The role combines technical leadership with hands‑on engineering responsibilities, collaborating with regional and global teams to support project execution, business development, and customer engagement through technical studies and innovative power system solutions.
Qualifications
- MS degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Systems or related field.
- 6+ years of industrial experience performing power system studies and simulation.
- Experience modeling grid‑forming and grid‑following inverters and understanding of protection systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead detailed electrical system analyses including load flow, voltage profiles, short circuit, protection coordination and harmonic studies.
- Serve as power systems SME for projects and mentoring junior engineers.
- Support proposal development, client presentations, and collaboration with regional/global teams.
- Develop and validate microgrid and grid integration studies for utility, industrial, and data center applications.
