Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas is seeking an experienced Power Systems Engineer to model, simulate, and analyze power systems for utility-scale, industrial, renewable energy, microgrid, and data center applications.

The role requires technical leadership, collaboration with regional and global teams, and hands-on engineering to support studies, consulting, and development of advanced power system solutions across grid modernization, BESS, microgrids, and data centers.

Qualifications

• MS degree in Electrical Engineering with power systems focus.
• 6+ years of industrial experience in power system studies.
• Experience with grid-forming and grid-following inverters and protection.
• Experience with data center electrical infrastructure and AI/hyperscale context.

Responsibilities

• Perform load-flow, voltage profile, short-circuit, and protection coordination studies.
• Develop system models for microgrids and utility-scale projects.
• Evaluate grid codes, interconnection studies, and ISO/RTO interfaces.
• Provide SME guidance to customers and oversee third-party consultants.
