Job summary

TSMC is seeking an experienced Facilities Electrical Engineer for its Phoenix, AZ facility. You will own electrical power systems from 50V to 230kV, oversee UPS/generator systems, and develop PM plans, procedures, and training for field crews.

You will collaborate with electricians and service providers, perform design support for projects, and ensure safety, capacity, and reliability across power infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 1–5 years post-education experience as an electrical engineer.
• Experience with industrial power systems and design deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe workplace.
• Develops system documentation including PM Plans and operating instructions.
• Ensures maintenance meets OEM requirements and codes.
• Evaluates effectiveness of preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Identifies opportunities to reduce costs and optimize PMs.
• Leads root cause analysis on equipment failures impacting production.
• Manages electrical load databases and coordination with utilities.
• Plans future-ready techniques and updates electrical infrastructure layouts.
• Provides training and troubleshooting to electricians.
• Ensures equipment meets environmental protection requirements.
• Participates in ERT duties as needed.
