Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma and a Journeyman Electrician’s certificate or higher.
• Experience with electrical distribution up to high voltages and code compliance.
• Ability to read schematics, manuals and codebooks; perform calculations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain electrical systems up to 230kV including substations and switchgear.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams and codebooks.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations to assess loads and power factors.
• Prepare records, parts lists and work orders; maintain safety and regulatory compliance.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and routine/repair tasks on complex electrical assets.
• Support Emergency Response Team duties and coordinate with vendors as needed.
