Job summary

Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) is offering a Power Systems Engineering Co-op in Eagan, IN. You’ll review next-day load forecasts, run contingency simulations in TARA or PSS E, and summarize findings to support operator guides and daily handoffs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python (or other coding languages with ability to learn quickly).
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Run next-day contingency studies and interpret results.
• Summarize findings for the team to inform operator guides.
• Collaborate with Control Room on day-ahead planning
