Location is Eagan, IN with housing available for qualified students; term January XX – May XX, 2027, full-time and paid. Ideal for undergrads or grads in Electrical Engineering with relevant coursework.

Qualifications

• Some college of Electrical Engineering (required).
• Some college of Electrical & Computer Engineering (required).
• Completion of coursework covering power systems, control systems, and circuits.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Programming experience (e.g., Python, MATLAB, or C++).
• SQL for data analysis and automation experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Run next-day contingency studies and interpret results for operators.
• Assist in developing automation for power system models.
• Support Day Ahead Market processes with data analysis.
