Job summary

Integrated Power Services is hiring a Sales Representative – Power Systems in the Miami area. You will develop customer relationships, drive profitable growth, and promote IPS power-management solutions including switchgear, transformers, and field services.

You will identify requirements, craft sales strategies, coordinate resources, and present compelling technical and commercial proposals to meet annual sales objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering, business, marketing, or related field.
• Three+ years of successful technical or industrial sales experience preferred.
• Experience selling power-system equipment or services preferred.
• Familiarity with switchgear, circuit breakers, transformers, electrical testing, and field services.

Responsibilities

• Establish and achieve annual sales, margin, and account-growth objectives within the territory.
• Develop new accounts and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
• Schedule calls and meet customers to understand power-system needs and goals.
• Promote IPS products and services including switchgear, breakers, transformers, testing, and field services.
• Identify outages, capital projects, and maintenance opportunities.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and field-service teams to develop customer solutions.
• Support preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
• Present proposals with clear scope, value, pricing, and schedule.
• Develop strategic account and territory plans and maintain an active opportunity pipeline.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory as required.
