Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and develop power supplies and power electronic systems on Long Island. The role covers concept through testing, validation, and production with a direct-hire arrangement.

The position involves designing AC/DC and DC/DC converters, performing analog circuit work, developing schematics, selecting components, and supporting production and qualification testing. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in power electronics are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of Electrical Engineering experience.
• 5+ years of power supply/power electronics experience.
• Analog circuit design background.
• Experience with AC/DC and DC/DC converter design.
• Experience with schematic design, testing, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop power supplies and power electronic systems.
• Design AC/DC and DC/DC power conversion circuits and regulated power supplies.
• Perform analog circuit design, analysis, simulation, and troubleshooting.
• Develop electrical schematics and engineering documentation.
• Select electronic components based on performance, reliability, and application requirements.
• Test, debug, verify, and validate power supply designs.
