Job summary

Process Technology in Ohio is seeking a skilled Hardware Engineer to design and develop advanced power supply systems, including AC/DC and DC/DC converters, for industrial and military markets. This hands-on role covers design, testing, and project management across the product lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in electrical engineering and at least 6 years in power electronics, with 3+ years in developing bidirectional, four-quadrant supplies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering required.
• Minimum 6 years in power electronics design and validation; 3+ years in developing power supplies.
• Experience with bidirectional, four-quadrant power supplies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop power supply electronics, including analysis, schematic capture, and PCB design.
• Bench testing and validation of power supplies; build and test prototypes.
• Collaborate with firmware/embedded engineers on analog and DSP/MCU control systems.
• Prepare design documentation, BOMs, and test procedures; ensure compliance with safety standards.
