Job summary

Wholesale Electric Supply Co. of Houston is seeking a Manager – Power Solutions Group to lead a cross-functional team of technical sales, engineering, and quotation professionals. You will guide quotations, proposals, and strategic account pursuits across power distribution and control solutions.

The role focuses on coaching, customer relationship development, and driving project pipelines, while ensuring compliance with specifications and delivering value-added solutions for complex projects.

Qualifications

• The candidate has 5-10 years in electrical distribution or related industries.
• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 20% for supplier visits and customer sites.
• TWIC Card and safety/background checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of technical sales, engineering, and quotation professionals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, contractors, EPC firms, and partners.
• Prepare and oversee accurate quotations and technical proposals for power distribution products.
• Review project specifications and drawings to ensure compliance and identify value-added solutions.
• Coordinate with customers and suppliers to secure pricing, lead times, and resources.
• Monitor team performance, pipelines, and metrics to drive efficiency and profitability.
• Support business development by identifying market opportunities and trends.
