Wholesale Electric Supply Co. of Houston, Inc. seeks a Manager – Power Solutions Group to lead a team of technical sales, engineering, and quotation professionals, while remaining actively engaged in quotations, proposal development, technical consultation, and opportunity management.

This role drives performance across power distribution and control solutions, supporting complex projects and high-value pursuits with customers, EPC firms, and manufacturer partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-10 years in electrical distribution or related industries, including technical sales or engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Travel up to 20% to supplier locations, company facilities, or customer sites as needed.
• Ability to obtain TWIC Card and safety certifications for entry into facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of technical sales, engineering, and quotation professionals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, contractors, EPC firms, manufacturer partners, and internal sales teams.
• Prepare and oversee accurate quotations and technical proposals for power distribution products.
• Review project specs/drawings to ensure compliance and identify value-added solutions.
• Coordinate with customers, manufacturers, and suppliers for pricing, lead times, and resources.
• Monitor team performance, pipelines, and key metrics to drive profitability and project conversion.
• Support business development by identifying market opportunities and strategic partnerships.
