Job summary

EDF Trading North America, LLC is seeking a Power Settlements Analyst in Houston to handle invoice creation, reconciliation, and settlement of physical, financial, and broker transactions across power markets. Responsibilities include cash collection, timely payments, journal entries, and close processes, while collaborating with Trading, Origination, Scheduling and Finance.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years in energy trading, strong Excel skills, and experience with Openlink

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business or equivalent experience.
2–3 years of experience in the Energy Commodity Marketing and Trading Industry.
Strong Excel and MS Office proficiency; basic accounting principles.
Experience with Openlink Endur or similar ETRM is preferred.

Responsibilities

Invoice creation, distribution, reconciliation, checkout and settlement of physical, financial, and broker transactions.
Perform detailed accounting tasks related to asset management and customer purchase/sale agreements.
Ensure timely collection of cash and payments to customers; maintain open aged balances.
Assist with monthly and year-end closes, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
Support audits and collaborate with Trading, Origination, Scheduling, Treasury, Credit, and Finance teams.
