Qualifications

• Experience: At least 1 year of accounting experience is preferred.
• Education: At least a two-year degree in Accounting or similar background.
• Ability to proofread documents and accurately prepare various reports.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for weekly divisional payroll time and equipment review and processing.
• Works with a small team to provide underground utility locates for job sites.
• Performs weekly and monthly customer T&E, lump sum, and unit invoicing; verifies costs and reconciles billable hours with payroll and equipment hours.
• Provide data for monthly WIP reports; ensure accruals are accounted for.
• Assist with tracking and reporting of project financial performance including hours, costs, revenue, contract value, and margins.
• Assist with allocating fuel charges to appropriate projects; act as liaison between customers, vendors, and project management staff.
• Leverage approved AI-powered tools to streamline workflows and support data analysis within accounting.
