Job summary

Sargent Lundy is seeking a Project Manager with extensive power industry experience to provide leadership in development support, conceptual design, and owner’s engineer services for electric power projects.

The role involves leading technical evaluations, cost analyses, risk assessments, and contract development, with travel to project sites as needed. A strong background in thermal power projects and Spanish fluency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program with 15+ years in power.
• Owner’s engineer and/or design engineer experience for development and execution of power generation projects (thermal preferred).
• Experience managing teams of engineers.
• Experience performing feasibility studies for power projects.
• Experience with power purchase agreements, asset transfer agreements, and EPC contracts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of power-generation consulting projects for clients.
• Provide leadership in conceptual design, owner’s engineer services, and due diligence activities.
• Perform technical evaluations, economic/cost analyses, risk assessments, and contract development.
• Prepare proposals and project execution plans; oversee project teams and ensure budget/scope adherence.
• Travel to project sites and client offices as needed (domestic and international).
