Job summary

HDR is seeking a Project Development Section Leader in Ann Arbor to guide the power generation section and oversee staff development, profitability, and client delivery. You’ll mentor teams, ensure quality control, and contribute to marketing and proposals across industrial, utility, municipal, and public clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience.
• Professional registration, license or certification may be required depending on role.
• Strong communication and listening skills demonstrated.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments effectively.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for operations of the project development section including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing support.
• Develop and maintain client relationships; participate in marketing and proposal development.
• Provide oversight, guidance, and quality checks of analysis and deliverables.
• Function as Project Manager and manage production on projects.
• Administrative responsibility for section staff and coordination with other sections.
