Job summary

Avanza is seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure quality and reliability across web apps, APIs, databases, and Power Platform solutions. You will develop test strategies, conduct manual and automated testing, manage defects, and support UAT with cross-functional teams.

You will build automated tests with Playwright/Selenium, validate security and data integrity, and contribute to release readiness in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5-8 years of software quality assurance and testing experience.
• Experience testing web applications, APIs, system integrations, databases, and data-driven business applications.
• Hands-on experience testing Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps and Dataverse; Power Automate preferred.
• Experience developing and maintaining automated tests with Playwright, Selenium, EasyRepro, or similar tools.
• Proficiency in SQL and data validation; REST APIs testing with Postman or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies, plans, test cases, and traceability for software applications and business solutions.
• Review requirements and acceptance criteria to identify quality risks early in development.
• Design and execute functional, integration, API, end-to-end, and regression tests.
• Build and maintain automated regression tests using Playwright, Selenium, or EasyRepro.
• Document, prioritize, and manage defects from identification through closure and retesting.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and analysts to resolve quality issues and support UAT.
