Job summary

Avanza LLC is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to ensure quality across web apps, APIs, databases, cloud services, and Power Platform solutions. You will develop test strategies, execute manual and automated tests, and collaborate with delivery teams throughout the SDLC.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in software QA, strong SQL, API testing, and hands-on automation using Playwright or Selenium. This role is hybrid, based near Arlington, VA with opportunities to influence product quality across

Qualifications

• Five or more years in software quality assurance and testing.
• Experience testing web applications, APIs, and databases.
• Hands-on automated testing using modern tools.
• Familiar with Power Platform and Dataverse testing.
• Strong SQL and REST API testing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies, plans, cases, and traceability.
• Review requirements and user stories for quality risks.
• Design and execute functional, integration, API, and end-to-end tests.
• Build and maintain automated regression tests.
• Manage defects from identification to closure and retesting.
• Support performance, accessibility, and security testing as needed.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and QA peers.
