Job summary

Vamonos IT is seeking a Microsoft Power Platform Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to support a U.S. federal customer. The role focuses on quality, reliability, security, and compliance of Power Platform solutions across the software lifecycle.

You will validate Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, Power Pages, and Copilot Studio, ensuring testability and adherence to standards. You will collaborate with developers, analysts, and government stakeholders to confirm functionality and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 3+ years of software quality assurance or application testing experience.
• Experience developing test plans, test cases, test scripts, test reports, and defect documentation.
• Experience performing functional, regression, integration, UAT, and system testing.
• Experience using defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and documentation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies, plans, cases, and scripts for Power Platform solutions.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT testing.
• Validate Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, Power Pages, Copilot Studio).
• Document, track, and verify defects through resolution using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Ensure solution performance, accessibility, security, and compliance with best practices.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality from design to deployment.
• Support production readiness reviews and post-implementation verification.
• Verify data migration, consolidation, and system integration activities.
• Develop end-user documentation and testing materials.
• Recommend improvements to QA methodologies and SOPs.
