Job summary

HDR is seeking a Power Platform Developer to advance enterprise adoption of Microsoft Power Apps, focusing on modernizing legacy tools into secure, scalable, M365 native solutions. Based in Charlotte, NC, this role partners with the national Power Apps team and project delivery groups to design, support, and continuously improve applications that enable project controls, reporting, and workflow automation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in project construction management, engineering, or technology field is required.
Introductory experience and aptitude in business data management, processes, analysis.
Motivated self-starter with creative thinking.
Working with Microsoft 365 apps (SharePoint Online, Excel, Power Automate, Forms, Teams or Power BI).
Experience converting business requirements into technical specifications and timelines.
Strong decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
Commitment to HDR's employee-owned culture; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

Design and develop Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven).
Build applications using Dataverse and SharePoint Online as core data sources.
Develop Power Automate flows for logic, approvals, and integrations.
Translate business requirements into structured designs (data models, forms, workflows).
Integrate Power Apps with external systems (scheduling, cost tools).
Collaborate with project teams, PMO, and stakeholders to deliver Power Apps solutions.
Deploy, test, and improve applications used in active project environments.
Contribute to Power Platform standards and HDR-wide best practices.
Contribute to HDR’s long-term Power Platform strategy across project types.
