Job summary

HDR is seeking a Power Platform Developer to advance enterprise adoption of Microsoft Power Apps, focusing on modernizing legacy tools into secure, scalable M365 native solutions. Based in Charlotte, NC, you will partner with national Power Apps teams to design, support, and improve applications enabling project controls, reporting, and workflow automation.

You will design and develop Canvas and Model-Driven Power Apps, implement Dataverse/SharePoint Online data sources, and build Power Automate

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in project construction management, engineering, or technology field.
Introductory experience and aptitude in business data management, processes, analysis.
Motivated self-starter and ability to think creatively.
Introductory skill set to include working with Microsoft 365 applications such as SharePoint Online, Excel, power Automate, Forms, Teams or Power BI.
Experience with converting business requirements into technical specifications and decide the timeline to accomplish tasks.
Strong decision-making skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple long- and short-term tasks simultaneously.
Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Design and develop Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) applications
Build applications using Dataverse and SharePoint Online as core data sources
Develop Power Automate flows to support application logic, approvals, and integrations
Translate business requirements into structured application designs, including data models, forms, and workflows
Integrate Power Apps solutions with external systems where needed
Collaborate with project teams, PMO, and business stakeholders to understand needs and deliver effective Power Apps–based solutions
Work with project teams to deploy, test, and improve applications used in active project environments
Contribute to Power Platform standards and best practices across HDR
Contribute to HDR’s long term Power Platform strategy by helping evolve scalable solutions across project types and business groups
Report and coordinate with Project Controls Technology Manager, Project Delivery Lead and Project Managers
Perform other duties as needed
