Job summary

PAHO/WHO ITS Information Technology Services seeks a Power Platform consultant to design, build, and operationalize AI-enabled automation solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, SharePoint Online, and Power BI. The role is delivery-focused, hands-on, and reports to the Business Relationship Manager.

You will work autonomously against a prioritized backlog, meet deadlines, and document progress and outcomes for sustainability after the engagement ends.

Responsibilities

• Review the work queue daily; confirm scope, priority, acceptance criteria, and due dates.
• Deliver tasks by the due date and propose recovery plans when at risk.
• Maintain task records with progress, decisions, blockers, and next actions.
• Collaborate with ITS units and PAHO departments to map requirements and translate them into solutions.
• Apply qualification tests to requests and decide delivery path.
• Assess requests for strategic alignment, value, licensing, data sensitivity, AI suitability, and sustainability.
• Review existing PAHO solutions before proposing new development and document reuse options.
• Avoid rebuilding legacy processes one-to-one if redesign improves scalability or governance.
