Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a hands-on Automation Enablement professional to identify and design AI and automation solutions aligned with business needs. You will work with business partners and technical teams to refine requirements, design scalable automation, and support implementation across platforms.

The role emphasizes collaboration, solution workshops, and cost/complexity estimation while advancing automation and emerging technology adoption to deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

  • 4 year degree or equivalent.
  • Two or more years of related experience.
  • Excellent technical knowledge in relevant emerging capabilities, automation, and related technologies.
  • Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and determine practical applicability.
  • Great communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a strong collaboration mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and define AI and automation solutions aligned to business requirements
  • Create design recommendations and define overall solution structures
  • Support platform unification through consistent, reusable design patterns
  • Participate in and facilitate solution workshops to gather requirements and align stakeholders
  • Identify impacted data sources, systems, integrations, and dependencies
  • Identify infrastructure needs and constraints
  • Inform functional and technical requirements, sequencing, and delivery timelines
  • Assess emerging technologies for suitability and business value
  • Support solution cost and complexity estimation
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams
  • Contribute as a Power Platform automation maker when needed to support design validation or targeted build activities
  • Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and determine practical applicability, business value, and implementation feasibility.
  • Strong solution design and architecture skills with the ability to develop scalable, sustainable, and supportable automation solutions.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, business domains, and technology platforms.
  • Strong risk identification and mitigation capabilities, with the ability to anticipate dependencies, constraints, and trade-offs early in the solutioning process.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current on emerging automation, AI, and digital transformation trends.
