Job summary

Luminant Generation Company LLC in Pardeesville, PA is seeking a Plant Operator to oversee the operation of gas plant systems from the Control Room. The role includes starting and stopping plants, responding to alarms, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring safe, reliable operation.

Qualifications include 2-4 years of related experience and a HS diploma or GED. Applicants must meet POSS/MASS testing requirements and may be placed at levels I–IV based on skill and experience.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of related experience.
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Candidate must meet Tier 1 performance measures (PT1-E) requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, repairs, and maintains plant equipment.
• Ensure proper operation of the plant; may oversee in absence of management.
• Repair and calibrate equipment; troubleshoot systems.
• Develop and implement plant operating procedures.
• Adhere to safety, health, environmental procedures including Lockout Tagout, JSA, Confined Space, Hot Work, Electrical Safety and PPE.
• Train others in area of expertise; perform technical work or analyses.
