Job summary

Luminant Power LLC in Reading, PA seeks a Plant Operator to manage and control gas plant operations from the control room. You will execute start-ups/shut-downs, respond to alarms, coordinate maintenance, and ensure safe, reliable plant performance.

2-4 years of power plant experience is preferred. Must complete POSS/MASS pre-employment testing and meet safety requirements, with strong communication under pressure.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of related experience in power/plant operations.
• Demonstrates ability to troubleshoot plant equipment and systems.
• Strong oral and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and control gas plant systems from the control room.
• Execute plant shut-downs and start-ups as required.
