Job summary

Luminant Power LLC in Reading, PA seeks a Plant Operator to oversee the operation, monitoring, and control of gas plant systems from the Control Room. You will execute shutdowns/startups, respond to alarms, and coordinate maintenance in line with commercial commitments.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and control power plant systems from the Control Room.
• Execute plant shut-downs and start-ups; respond to alarms and equipment issues.
• Coordinate maintenance and work with current plant conditions and commercial commitments.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
• Promote safe, effective, and reliable operation; follow safety and environmental regulations.
