Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join the ETS – Organization in the NOVUM Fleet, providing critical backup for plant control systems and related processes at Port Arthur, TX. The role offers progression from Specialist I to Senior Lead depending on qualifications, with significant field involvement across sites.

Responsibilities include diagnostic analysis, incident resolution, and leading complex projects, with 50% to 75% travel.

Qualifications

• Power plant or relevant technical experience required or preferred.
• MS Office and diagnostics experience is required.
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly.
• Duties include call outs and after-hours work when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary or technical backup support for plant systems and processes.
• Use monitoring tools to analyze data and improve plant operation.
• Provide technical support to maintenance, outages, and capital projects.
• Lead on complex projects including contract management.
• Support equipment problem solving and OEM discussions.
• Conduct root cause analyses and prepare management reports.
