Job summary

NAES Corporation in the United States is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide technical ownership and engineering support for assigned plant systems in a 2x1 combined-cycle facility near Pleasant Hill, MO. You will troubleshoot control, instrumentation, and automation issues, analyze performance, and drive improvements that enhance reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
Extensive experience providing engineering support for control, instrumentation, and automation systems.
Proficiency in DCS, PLC, and turbine and generator controls.
Strong knowledge of combined-cycle plant systems and equipment.
Experience conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.
Experience supporting plant startups, shutdowns, outages and major maintenance.
Knowledge of control system documentation, configuration management, cybersecurity, and NERC requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership in configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of control, instrumentation, and automation systems for CC operations.
Support plant systems and equipment across gas turbines, HRSGs, steam turbine, generators and BOP.
Monitor system performance, alarms, data, and operating trends.
Lead RCA investigations and implement corrective actions.
Develop engineering solutions for reliability and performance improvements.
Support startups, shutdowns, outages, and major maintenance with scope and testing procedures.
