Job summary

NAES Corporation is seeking a Shift Supervisor at the Baconton Power Station in Georgia. The role oversees all station operations, including startup and shutdown of main plant components, with duties akin to a Control Room Operator to ensure safe and efficient performance.

Leading safety compliance, maintenance planning, and documentation, you will mentor O&M technicians, assist in staffing, and coordinate with the Plant Manager and departments to maintain smooth plant operations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering or technical field is preferred.
• Experience leading power plant operations and maintenance.
• CRO and control room experience is preferred.
• Strong safety, regulatory compliance, and team leadership.
• Ability to write and revise operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all station operations, including startup/shutdown of main components; perform CRO duties.
• Ensure site safety requirements are implemented and inspections are conducted.
• Lead system representative for assigned systems; maintain shift logs and downtime data.
• Monitor daily consumption of chemicals, fuels, water; manage inventories.
• Coordinate electrical/mechanical inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance with Plant Manager.
• Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance; document activities in CMMS.
• Write/review/ revise operating procedures; assist in training and staff development.
