Job summary

Ameren Missouri is seeking a Shift Supervisor I to supervise, direct, and coordinate all phases of mechanical and electrical operations of power plant equipment to ensure continuous, safe, efficient, and economical operation. This is a 12-hour rotating shift, 5 weeks on and 1 week off, with responsibility for multiple shift teams and plant processes.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a technical degree preferred, and extensive power plant experience depending on degree.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred.
• Two or more years of relevant power plant experience required with Bachelors Degree; five or more years without degree.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, appraise, and coordinate plant personnel in control room and equipment operations and maintenance.
• Lead plant personnel including various engineers and technicians across operations and controls.
• Ensure safe, reliable, legal, and efficient plant operation on rotating shifts.
