Job summary

Ameren Missouri is seeking a Shift Supervisor I to oversee mechanical and electrical operations at one of our power plants in Missouri. You will supervise a diverse team, ensure safe and efficient plant performance, and coordinate on 12-hour rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline preferred.
• Two or more years of relevant power plant experience required with a Bachelor's Degree; five or more years of relevant power plant required without degree.
• Five or more years of relevant heavy industrial experience may be considered, with preference for power plant experience.
• Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, appraise, and coordinate plant personnel in control room and equipment operations.
• Lead personnel including Unit Operating Engineers and other roles.
• Take full responsibility for safe, reliable operation on PM, Owl, and weekend shifts; 12-hour rotating shifts.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline (e.g. engineering)
