The role includes ensuring NERC PRC-005-06 compliance, troubleshooting protective relays, and overseeing upgrades, with 20% travel and interaction with engineering, vendors, and plant personnel. Qualifications

• BS in Electrical engineering and 3-5 years of P&C experience.
• AS/technical degree in Electrical Power and Controls with 7-10 years P&C experience.
• 10-15 years of related P&C experience and knowledge of electrical protection.
• Excellent people skills and self-motivated.
• Proficient with MS Office and relay related software.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervision preferred.
• Works with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead Protection & Control (P&C) team and oversee technicians.
• Support Fossil Generation with P&C upgrades and capital projects.
• Provide 24x7 emergency P&C services to generation sites.
• Interface with plant personnel, Engineering, and contractors.
• Ensure NERC PRC-005-06 compliance and data verification.
• Develop staff, provide SME guidance, and manage budgets.
