Entergy is seeking a Student, Intern to operate and maintain systems at a Combined Cycle and Simple Cycle facility in Louisiana. You will work with a team to support day-to-day plant operations while following safety procedures and company policies.

The role emphasizes learning through the multi-skill progression plan, regulatory awareness, and hands-on maintenance tasks across instrumentation, electrical, and process controls.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a technical, associate, bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree program (full-time or part-time).
• Pursuing a degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Process Technology or related field.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8 with official transcript verification from previous semester.

Responsabilités

• Maintain regulatory compliance and proactively engage with agencies to avoid violations.
• Participate in the multi-skill progression plan to develop key maintenance and operations skills.
• Conduct and participate in job briefings and safety meetings.
• Apply knowledge of plant systems, burner controls, turbine controls, data acquisition, and process controls.
• Perform mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical maintenance as needed.
