Entergy Louisiana, LLC is seeking a Student Intern to assist with operating and maintaining CCGT and simple cycle facilities in Lake Charles, LA. You will follow procedures to improve performance and ensure safety for employees and contractors.

As part of a multi-skill progression plan, you will participate in maintenance and operations activities, attend safety meetings, and support regulatory compliance while developing practical knowledge of plant systems, controls, and data acquisition.

Formación

• Active enrollment in a technical degree program (instrumentation, electrical, or process technology).
• Enrolled as a student in a technical, associate, bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree program.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in day-to-day maintenance and operations activities.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and avoid reportable violations.
• Participate in the multi-year Production Technician progression plan.
• Conduct and participate in job briefings and safety meetings.
• Apply understanding of plant systems, controls, data acquisition, and related equipment.
• Perform mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical maintenance as needed.
